About the Artist

Laura works across the south bay with many productions such as, Teatro Visión (San Jose), Ópera Cultura (San Jose), City Lights Theater Company (San Jose), Sunnyvale Community Players, Los Altos Stage Company, and more! They are also the Stage Manager for The Circus of Sin (a neo-burlesque variety show hosted by the Caravan Lounge every 2nd Friday at 10PM). They often enjoy prop design/building, but they love to do light and set design as well. When not designing they also work as an electrician and carpenter for the theater as well.

Some of Their more notable productions include: Prop Design for Head Over Heels at City Lights (2025), Prop Design for Dracula a Comedy of Terrors at City Lights (2025). Set Design for Rhinoceros at Foothill (2025), Prop Design for The Prom at Foothill (2025), Prop Design for The House on Mango Street for Teatro Visión (2025), Prop Design for In Love and Warcraft at City Lights Theatre (2024), Light Design for Shakuntala at Foothill College (2024), Prop Design for La Mariposa and Breaking Through for Teatro Visión (2024), and Prop Design for Ken Ludwig’s The Game's Afoot at City Lights Theatre (2023).

Besides their work in the theater Laura is has also been a circus performer for the sideshow duo NoReason since 2013. They enjoy making props, puppets, various types of light/prop designs for other projects across the bay area. When they’re not working you can find them on one of the many Bay Area hiking trails, swimming, or making something for everyone to eat.
